among various stakeholders thus creating an environment for moving
towards sustainable development
To act as an intellectual forum to
debate, promote and further refine the Abbottabad Conservation Strategy
(ACS)
To debate sectoral issues and constraints
and identify interventions required for sustainable development;
To identify innovative financing mechanisms
to foster sustainable development of key sectors in Abbottabad; and
To provide a forum for interface between
the public sector and the civil society to debate and develop a consensus
on issues of Environment and Sustainable Development;
To promote awareness and advocate for:
a. Controlling air and noise pollution
b. Solid Waste & Water Waste Management
c. Municipal issues;
d. Conservation of natural resources (forests, national parks, biodiversity,
etc.)
